A 12 volt socket on your scooter is
easy to achieve. This is what you
need:
1 12 Volt
socket splashproof
1 fuse holder mounting
1 switch mounting
It concerns a 12 Volt DC connection for a navigation system. The components
are build in under the body seat.
Here they sit nice, dry and warm.
The 12 Volt socket is placed at the front, under the ignition.
The front cover is mounted in an angle and therefore the rain can not come into
the 12 Volt socket.
If there is a short circuit
in the 12 Volt socket system, then the fuse can
easely be replaced. With the additional switch
you can turn off the 12 volt
socket from the battery if if necessary. The 12 Volt socket will be disconected
when the ignition is turned off. A 12 volt DC socket can easely realized at any scooter with a build in battery.
By the way. . . . they said that a 12 volt socket sytem build in via
a scooter dealer would cost about € 80, -
euro. Well..... i am not going to write anything about
that. . . . .
Again someone is happy. . . . So. . . . . . keep your eyes on the road while navigating.
